I LOOOOVED Rising Force when it came out....
... I actually had a Clasical Cello player bring his Cello over and I handed him the sheet music and said "Can you learn this?" I gave him the bass and Keyboard parts. He made a version of it that was playable.
I took a guitar pickup and placed it underneath the cello strings and plugged it into my PA. Then we learned Icarus Dream Suit and Far Beyond the Sun with him on Cello, the Keyboard parts midi'd on my Yamaha, and me playing the Guitar part.
Needless to say, the Top-40 metal band I was in at the time didn't really care for my side projects.

Rising Force is the only thing from Ingwie that really grabbed me.
I love Buddy Guy's rendition of Red House on the first Jimi Tribute CD.
Closest I ever got was standing 10 feet away from SRV as he played in the Princeton College Gym. Gym's have terrible acoustics with all the sound bouncing off the back wall...but still a helluva moment.
ANYONE HIP TO LOS LONELY BOYS???? Guitarist sounds like SRV and the 3 brothers harmonize so well.
